Little Workers donate to national and international charities as well as children's and women's organisations and support groups. Little Workers support local community events, participate in fund raising fashion parades at schools and kindergartens and donate to underprivileged and abused. Currently we are linked with the “Door of Hope” - also known as “The hole in the wall”, South African orphanage in Johannesburg, Sth. Africa and “Watoto” and “St Moses” in Uganda. Your help is much needed and to make a donation we have provided direct links at the bottom of this page. However small or large, your donation will make a difference. $5 can go a long way. Closer to home, I was shocked to learn of the state of homelessness in our own city of Brisbane. Other cities in Australia seem to be in the same situation. The number of homeless is alarming, and on the rise, with the majority being women and children. They are predominately aged between 6 and 17 – hardly women I say............ “Second chance” is a Brisbane based organisation that looks after homeless women and helps them integrate back into the society and return to normal lives. Little Workers have made “Second chance” the charity of choice and hope you can help as well. Direct links are provided to take you to their website and when possible please give generously.
